More Shopping Complexes

Many new shopping malls opened in town means more places to hang out during weekend after the tight working weekdays. The most happening one like Pavillion, The Gardens & Bangsar Village r categorised as HIGH CLASS shopping venues 'coz it mostly occupied by those branded boutiques. One question in my mind is why so many people afford to "shop & buy til u drop" in these places whereas everybody is yelling economy is very bad?!
