Tag: Do You Spare The Rod

First reaction when I get to know my fellow buddy Trinity tagged me this, I was like what am I going to do with this since I don't have any experience in parenting "yet"...But I'll try to think about it and it's such a lovely tag. Thanks Trinity!

I guess my style in guiding, teaching & bringing up kids in the future will be in a very "liberal/diplomatic" way in the sense that I'll explain why this & that shouldn't do & the like. I believe when you "mould" them at their early age, they'll understand better when they grown up. With such a "hard way", I'm affraid the kids will hate parents in their heart and it may widen the gap as time goes by. I'll try to cultivate the relationship as "best friend" forever between parents & kids. It's my thought and hopefully it works next time!

Christmas Eve Party

After came back from office, we were heading to my 2nd Bro's house as we promised the kids to have an Ex-change gifts Party.

We had Nando's Chicken, Red Wine, Fruit Juice, Jelly, Fruits & Tang Yuen (again)...The kids not really interested in food but cycling & disturb around.

The Highlight of the party: Pressie Ex-Change Time!

Yuan is good girl to play a Christmas song for me as she promised me earlier. But the two lil monster there are absolutely know nothing abt playing piano, they just simply "kacau kacau" only!

Kids always the happiest as you can see from their "unpretending" facial expression! But the Big Kid (hubby) was happy too as being forced by Yuan to do "salute" when she gave him this big pen, hehe...that's why I said hubby is always bullied by my nieces & nephew.
I revealed a small secret here, Yuan wrote a message to Santa. She wants the Nintendo Game Boy. The Santa (my 2nd Bro) has actually bought and wanted to give both his dear daughters a big surprise before going to bed!
We enjoyed a lot and we went back at about 12 midnight!

Christmas Preparation

Yesterday was indeed a very busy & stressful day for both me & hubby. I slept late@ abt 3am 'coz wanted to finish a great movie->The Beutiful Mind. Then wake up abt 9am then proceed wth all the necessary. (Blogging & Housework chores)

Initially wanted to go 1U but too crowded wth cars in the parking, so just paid RM1 and got out. Then headed to Sunway Pyramid. Damn hungry...had lunch@Kenny Rogers. Food is bad!

The most important mission was to buy X'mas gifts to my nieces & nephew. Here are the stuff:-)

Hubby is always "delegated" to do the wrapping. So, here are the gifts after nicely wrapped:-)

Nice or not?...hehehe...

Today I got back from office earlier & it's about time to go for Christmas Eve Party@my 2nd Bro house, catch up with u guys tomorrow!

* (10-16 points) You are Garfield :You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how tohave fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know whatyou are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others maynot see things as you do, but that doesn't mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember, your happy spirit may hurt you or others.

* (17-23 points) You are Snoopy:You are fun, you are very cool and popular. You always know what's i nand you are never are out of style You are good at knowing how tosatisfy everyone else. You have probably disappeared for a few daysmore than once but you always come home with the family values that you learned Being married and having children are important to you, butonly after you have had your share of fun times

* (24-28 points) You are Elmo:You have lots of friends and you are also popular, always willing togive advice and help out a person in need. You are very optimistic andyou always see the bright side of things. Some good advice: try not tobe too much of a dreamer. Dreaming too big could cause many conflicts inyour life.

* (29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants: You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friend that anyone could ever have and never wants to lose. You never causeharm to anyone and they would never not understand your feelings. Life is a journey, it's funny and calm for the most part. Stay away from traitors and jealous people, and you will be stress free.

* (36-43 points) You are Charlie Brown: You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very serious about all relationships. You are a family person. You call your Mom every Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a fewBirthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality.

* (44-50 points) You are Dexter:You are smart and definitely a thinker... Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes.

* Try to do less over thinking every once in a while to spice things up a bit with spontaneity. Now don't spoil it! Have some Fun!!

So the character most resembling myself is Sponge Bob SquarePants

I would like to know u guys resembling which cartoon character:-)

"Dong Zhi" Dinner@Parents' House

My mum is a great chef for chinese cuisine and above are some of her "Signature Dishes". Yong Tau Fu & Curry Chicken are our all time favourite. 2nd row: Chicken Mushroom and Taufu with Fish Meat (I can have rice with this one alone sometimes 'coz it's very delicious). 3rd row: Lotus soup and all dishes. Everyone of us very full after this but we still manage to have fruits. (We get used to eat fruits after dinner since we were kids) What a joyful night!

We Can Shop Car Parts Online Now

I love to see all sorts of car racing sports especially F1, Rally and Indycar. But I must admit that my knowledge towards automobile is very shallow. My hubby always furnish me with the relevant information on car parts as he said that some exposure for it is necessary although my thought goes to the opposite.

You know, Ford Focus is one of my favourite rally cars. If I'll own this Big Toy one day, I have a place to search for Ford auto parts with free shipping provided the order is over $50. I think it's brilliant to have auto parts selling online because we hardly find it locally especially those of Europe cars.

Today Is A Special Festive Season...

Yes, it's called "Dong Zhi" which marks the Winter is started. (If I'm not mistaken) We have something round and sweet name "Tong Yuen" for this day. My 2nd Bro brought my parents to Esquire Kitchen yesterday afternoon & they tried "Tong Yuen" with peanut & sugar. They said it tasted quite good. So, mum said she wanted to make it rather buy it at market.

So here's the process, mum is the "sifu" and I'm the apprentice.

It's soooo easy,

and finally,

It's ready to eat. It looks colourful & beautiful, right?...
