Relax In The Park

Honestly, I'm not very fancy for going shopping in every weekend. Sometimes I feel it's boring and I rather stay at home, watch DVDs with my hubby in the chilled room. Or, I love going for outing if we have settled the house chores earlier. Sunrise, Mon't Kiara is one of the places me and hubby like to hang out to. Although there's not many attraction, I love there being not crowded and shop at the flee market there. Usually we have a cuppa at one of the cafes or take a meal at McD. Recently, there have built two fish ponds. Those Koi fishes swimming happily. During the hot day, I feel like wanted to jump into the pond and swimming with the fishes!

A Lovely Outing

The last time I went to Putrajaya was quite some years ago. My elder niece was just a chubby toddler during that time but she is a Standard two pupil now and her height is about my shoulder! Couple of weeks ago hubby asked me to go Putrajaya again, I said yes without much thought although it was a sunny day... It was so terribly HOT!

There was not much changed. What I dislike there is the facilities are not well maintained. The lake here look beautiful but I'm wondering why it was so smelly when we get near and walked on the path beside. Due to the hot weather, we canceled our initial planning to go for cycling. Just explore the garden and dine at the chilled food court before going home.

Halloween

Some shopping complexes are organizing some Halloween activities for the kids. Hubby and I went to 1U last week and we saw some lovely pumkins placed under the man-made bushes. There are some stalls selling different candies too. A lot of kids seems waiting for something. So I was curious and get nearer to the place.

Actually, there was a contest going-on. The kids were waiting it to start. The contest is to see who can collect the most candies placed around the bushes area. The kid participants were given a pumkin container and they were running around to collect without the aid of their parents. If any parents found helping their kids then it'll be disqualified. How I wish I'm qualified to take part!

Weird Weather...

Oh here are some hot days recently. I'm sweating even in the early morning when I get out from the bed. I have to go for a cold shower instead of a warm shower in the morning! The weather is a bit weird too. It can change any minute as what happened last couple of days, it rain heavily in the afternoon although it's extremely hot in the morning. So, it's better to bring along umbrella or rain coat when we go out for a walk in the park. How's the weather at your place? Mind to share?...

Eating Out...

That was a particular Sunday in a couple of weeks ago, hubby and I had lunch at a restaurant nearby. This restaurant is not special but what we like is they have more variety of food and prices are reasonable too. I have mentioned this restaurant in my earlier post before. There are no deco and the woman boss there is extremely stingy. Tell you, she'll ask her staffs to off the air-con if there are lesser customers. Can you believe it? From the pix, can you see there's a number "3" WRITTEN on the table? I'm totally salute to her... she seems want to save money for buying even a number tag for the table!

Number "3" apart from the food!

Giant Track

It was a beautiful Sunday hubby and I went shopping in a complex. There were toys promotions and book fair everywhere in conjunction with the school holiday.

Hubby, my big kid was very excited to see all his favourite toys as if a kid jumping to the wonderland. Honestly, I was happy and excited too! hehehe...

We both surprised when looking at this giant track of Thomas & Friends. If my nephew was going with us, he must be shouting for happiness! Well, I love it too but I know it must be at least cost a few thousand ringgit because the basic one is around RM120.00.

I'm thinking to collect those miniature Sylvanian Families set. Those are very adorable. I'm controlling myself from buying now as I want to tidy my small room first and hubby said we can put all the toys we collected in the room. Yeah!

Nice Food & Greeting

You know hubby and I love to hunt for new cuisine and good food everytime we go shopping or on holiday. We had these in a weekend quite sometime ago but I have forgotten to upload it that time. Here share with you our favourite food in one of our usual hang out restaurant in 1 Utama, Wong Kok Char Chan Teng.

My Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet Rice with Veggie while hubby with his Beef Baked Cheese Rice

We shared this big mug of Jasmine Lemon Honey Tea. I love it as it's very refreshing in the hot day. The drinks there are all very big mug except for the coffee so we usually share on one drink because we hardly finished it by own if we ordered two separately. And the prices for the food there are reasonable so we will go there for lunch if we can't think of another better place or if we don't want to try a new place.

Shopping

Hubby and I hang out at Bangsar Village last week. Yeah, this is another high-end shopping mall so that you hardly see a crowd there. I look for some books while hubby bought a AV magazine. Going into Puma shop always make me add-on my wish list because their sneakers and t-shirts are simply much cheaper than Adidas and Nike. The above pix is nothing special, I just snapped it while waiting hubby going to gents.

A Day Full of Food

It's actually a back dated post. It was actually a Saturday for about last two-three weeks back. My parents, eldest bro & family + me & hubby went for breakfast at my cousin newly opened a Hong Kong-style cafe in Damansara. I enjoyed the this kind of family bonding session honestly. We chat while enjoying the food. Don't talk much and let's see the pix:-

The food is ok. When we reached the cafe, my cousin were out for buying the necessary stocks according to the staffs. When he came back, my mum and bro had some chat with him basically asking how's the business and the related. But I think it's ok since there were customers coming in while we were eating. So I wish his business will be growing well!

~The guy standing in gray shirt is my cousin~

As I said that was a Day Full of Food in the title right, so check out our NEXT ROUND of FOOD futher!

They Did It Again...

Remember they were wearing almost the same that I posted earlier here? The small boy is so cute, he asked his uncle to wear the same style again for the next day when we went out together for breakfast in the morning. You see his mischievous smiling...a naughty boy but always know how to melt adult's heart!

There was one night we had dinner at the restaurant, the waiter was alert to carry a baby chair for him spontaneously but you guess what the boy said to us? ... "I'm four years old already, I don't need baby chair!..." We were laughing at him and replied him "Oh yes, you are BIG boy now, you don't need a baby chair any more"

Steamboat Again

That was another round of the steamboat dinner at the same restaurant with my family after everyone agreed that the food taste good. Ok this pix is actually taken by my niece, it's not bad! I let her have the digit cam with her and told her to snap whatever she likes because I'm busy at eating! I was so hungry that night and actually all the adults are hungry except the kids "playing" with the food. We all suddenly very addicted to steamboat, so my bro asking us to try the one quite famous one in Bandar Puteri, name something in Shabu Shabu...I think most of you know but me, hehehe...

Forever Good Friends

You see these kids and my BIG kid, hehehe...We'll get together every weekend especially on Sunday. My nieces and nephew are getting closer to their uncle instead of their aunt nowadays. You see they'll share things together. The small boy likes to bully his uncle too!! But he always want his uncle to hug him. He can sing many kiddy songs now. He entertains us a lot. My hubby said to me when we came back to our own house, "it'll be great if they still treat us as good as how they treat us now when they all grown up in the future..." Yeah, I hope we all can be FOREVER GOOD FRIENDS!

Food Again!

Ok yeah it's a food photo here. Actually I have a lot more in the folder but I'm too afraid that uploaded too many of it will just make my readers boring. My family always go to the same restaurant in the weekend to have the "almost same dishes". We are the loyal type although we love to try new food sometimes. Tell you, the dishes in this restaurant is delicious and the main point is that the location of this restaurant is near so that we all can get over there within 15 minutes from home. After dinner, we can still go to parents' place to have the "family time" I think this is very important to maintain this kind of relationship. And guess what, this weekend we'll go to the same restaurant again! Ciao for now!

Same One?...

It was last Saturday, hubby and I went to a nearby cafe to have breakfast. Breakfast + lunch, to be accurate because the lazy guy woke up late so we usually have 2+1 meal in the afternoon. If we are not going any places for shopping then we'll eat at cafe place because cafe is more comfortable & relaxing, we'll chat a while after eating. By the time I was enjoying my bowl of Ipoh Kueh Teow Soup (yum yum)..., my hubby told me OMG, a guy coming in with the same T-shirt as I was wearing! I was whispering " don't get near here, please...."but all the tables were seated except one beside us. Then the guy with his family seated beside us. I know this kind of incident is not special but the T-shirt I'm wearing is bought from Korea when my bro visit there last year. So chances for such incident should be slim but...it happened! The guy knew and we starred at each other. We pretended nothing was happen and continued our meal. They left the cafe faster than us. hehe...

Movie on Saturday

We watched Die Hard 4.0 at home yesterday. I love action movie very much. But for this one the story line is perhaps too much, I mean the hackers can really do that much until control the whole States?...I don't know much about the capability of a hacker but I believe they can make some handsome money in their own way undoubtedly! Ok forget about it.

The sound effect is thumbs up especially the scene in tunnel there, remember? I don't like when MaggieQ fights with Bruce Willis, that's too fake as she is a terminator. She's a human and a big guy like Bruce can't fight with a petite woman? But Maggie can act in this movie. When the jet chasing the truck driven by Bruce is another silly one like in Power Rangers! What I enjoyed the most is the special effect. It's damn real man!

Hot Plates In Cold Night

There were raining heavily these days in the evening so the weather was quite chilly at night. My mum didn't cook on Saturday as planned earlier because by the time my parents came back from "Cheng Beng", it was quite late in the evening and she decided not to cook. So I suggested to have something different for dinner and steamboat straightaway comes to my mind .

As usual I exercised in the evening at about 6pm indoor since it was raining & thunderstorm outside. After shower, I read magazine for a while then we fetched parents and reached the restaurant in Taman Desa. The lady boss said that will be enough to order for the food of 3-person. Oh my, the four of us who considered as small/normal built always gives other a shock when comes to eat. We gotta ordered extra food for the quantity of 2 more persons! The lady boss said "you all must be very hungry!" Actually we were not in a "very hungry stage" but our appetite is always good, err...you know like Tasmania in Looney Tunes?! hehehe...
I must say that the food is very delicious because all those meatballs & fishballs are self-made. Tell you, the chilli and fried onion (as shown in above pix) made it tastier! Honestly, it tastes much better than Johnny's Steamboat.

Light & Easy...

This photo taken in the leisure area at my big bro's condo. My nephew only allowed my hubby to sit on this bench but not anyone because my hubby is the best pal of him apart from his parents. You see him, he is such naughty yet a cute little boy! He was so happy yesterday to welcome us to his house and he grabbed his daddy's handphone to talk to my hubby! He said " Gu Jiong, you come to my house later ok?..." Although we see each other almost every weekend at my parents' place but we still love to visit each other. My mum brought his favourite Vitagen and he wanted to drink it immediately!

And do you know what is opposite of the bench (as in the pix)? Find it here. Cheers...

Visit To Dong Zen Temple, Jenjarom

Since years ago, I always heard about how beautiful of Dong Zen Temple is decorated esp. during Chinese New Year. People told me it's situated at "Yan Ka Long" (Cantonese). I first thought it's Sg. Long, Kajang but it's not then where the hell is this place? Only this year I found out it's actually call Jenjarom, a small town before Banting. Last Saturday, my big bro asked my parents & us to go there. I'm so curious as to the place so I said yes immediately.
Here my nephew came to fetch us, hehehe...
I was so astonished by the entire deco and the place. Before we proceed to the performance, we had dinner at the vegetarian restaurant there. I don't really enjoy eating vegetarian but there's the only choice.
"Chicken" rice and porridge; at least yummy than I expected

Me & hubby with the small lanterns everywhere
Me; me with parents, bro, sis-in-law & nephew while hubby snapping this photo
Buddha statues are GRAND sitting high.
So beautiful, right? The flowers are colourful...
Can u see the giant lantern behind us is so huge
Me with my parents and he naughty boy likes to pose for photo

We went home at about 10 something. The haze was damn terrible on the way. Sure we want to go there again next year!

CNY Shopping

I Love the CNY deco@1U this year as it's quite special with the "Chinese Calligraphy" everywhere. There are all in CNY greetings. Above are some pix taken wth my mum. Sorry for zooming quite small b'coz need to fit in the whole words.
We managed to catch some "stunt actions" by the acrobatic team from China. They are amazing & we enjoyed the performance so much. Initially I thought just shopped with mum for a while but we shopped, eat, buy things & shopped...we spent more than 5 hrs there.
