CNY Shopping

Hubby & I went for shopping yesterday night at MV. Not so crowded or probably b'coz of heavy rain?...Whatever it is, I love it b'coz we needn't waited for long Q when paying at the cashier counter. But we didn't shop for long also. Our mission completed i.e. we bought the necessary CNY goodies but it seems we bought more of our snacks for ourselves, u see:-)
And of course the "must have" Mandarin Oranges. My hubby loves this oranges so much. U see him, he quickly put all inside the fridge nicely. Yeah, this is good to eat at night to cool the body since it's damn hot every night. Wow...so juicy...so sweet!

I'm Pity For My Eyes

I'm pity for my eyes somehow. I used to burn the midnight oil quite often whenever there were major examinations during the time I was a student. My eyes were tired. When come to work, surely my eyes stick in front of PC for more than 8 hours, saving hours and hours spent in blogging in the weekend! My eyes are getting blur, probably it's time I need a pair of glasses. Here I found the Great Discovery: Zenni Optical because there offers just too many choices of cool glasses. Prices are incredibly reasonable at Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses or else I'll pity for my wallet too! How could you not agree with me that's the Best Thing Found: Zenni Optical?

Eat It, Don't Worry

I believe nobody wants fat as we all just love to have a perfect body shape. Most ideally to own a model lookalike figure, perhaps Fergie or Beyonce...Yeah they are lovely, they both are body beautiful and they tend to make people so jealous when they dance on the stage. But Chinese New Year is near which means there are so much good dishes and snack to eat everyday. Do you realize those are mostly oily and high carbohydrate food which easily cause you put on weight a few KGs more! Yes, no kidding. If there's a need, go for lap-band Houston as the last resort. Never mind, that's better than no cure. I won't care much, I'll eat and no worry. How about you, people?

Need A Car In Israel?

Think of Israel , there's only a girl I can thought of to relate to the country. She is Shahar Peer, a talented and powerful tennis player. I like her determination in the matches.

I can't foresee the possibility to Israel for vacation as the destination. And the chances to locate myself there for career are even slim. But who knows, things always happen unexpectedly. At least I know this Car Rental in Israel. So that I can move around and no problem pertaining to transportation.

When Can I See You Again, The Police?

Hubby and I had a casual chat yesterday night after dinner. Yeah, we usually do this on any topics straightly from our mind. Hubby asked me that whether or not I still remembered the time when China had a stiff competition with Australia over the bid for holding the Olympic Games. Sure I do and it reminds me how time flies. Beijing Olympic 2008 is just a couple of months away, I guess the Sports Tickets must have been overwhelmingly booked or sold out.
Some fond memories appeared during the chat. I love Sting Concert that we went together back then on the Federal Territory Day (1st February) but I can't remembered exactly it was either 2004 or 2005. You know Sting right? He comes from The Police band before he went for solo. Their evergreen song "Every Breath You Take", ring your bell now?...When we knew that Sting had confirmed his concert held in Putra Stadium (Indoor), Bukit Jalil, we quickly bought Tickets at Lot 10 Information Counter. We enjoyed the songs, the music, the performance, the sound effect, just everything that night.

We both love to go for Europe tour. Who doesn't love, right? But we all know it costs quite a lot. In my wild dream, how wonderful if we can catch
The Police Concert during the tour in Europe. I saw their Concert Tickets on sale now whereby the concerts will be held at Mannheim and Dusseldorf, Germany and Manchester, UK in June 2008. Can I really listen to my favourite songs "Roxanne" and "Message In A Bottle" live from concert again but in Europe? We are working very hard for the Europe vacation fund!

Gotta Know More Software

I'm relatively an IT dummy but I'm willing to catch up from time to time or else I think I'm hardly survive in today's workforce. Yeah no kidding! It doesn't need you to be an expert but to make yourself familiar with it is necessary.

Last time when I heard people chatting about photoshop with regards to the PC issues, I was so naive that I thought they were referring to the real shop that we usually visit to get our photos developed. After some efforts in sourcing it out, I realize that it's a kind of software in enhancing or editing the graphics in computer. And now I found one online and this Photoshop Brushes may probably the one I need it for "overhauling" my blog in the future as I want my blog to look more attractive.

You Need To Choose Properly

During the past, we used to call the person who wears spectacles as "four-eye". And I recalled a classmate of mine in primary school was always bullied by some naughty boys by calling him "Ultraman" because the shape of glasses he had was oval which made him really look like "Ultraman". So you must better be smart in choosing your spectacles! But no worry since those available at Zenni Optical: Sell Rx Glasses $8 with case! are mostly stylish, fashionable and cool despite its reasonably cheap price. So would you want to replace your old pair too before people calling you with another "funny character"?

Love Your Heart

I'm a health-conscious person myself so I think I have the responsibility to spread the message about adDress Your Heart Campaign . Many people or at the least those around me are the kind of people who are care or worry for their health only when they fall sick. This is very wrong and my advice would be "prevention is better than cure" because some diseases may not alert you with any prior symptom and once you aware, it may be too late. Heart disease is No. 1 killer for American women and men but I suppose we all must love our heart by eating rightly and leading a healthy lifestyle.
Lisa Perry, a fashion designer, is working with Campbell's whereby she has designed some lovely dresses. You may show your appreciation towards the campaign by voting your favourite dress. Your kind action equals to donating $1 to the Go Red For Women movement. I'm sure most of you know Toni Braxton right? She will wear the dress with the highest votes. And for your information, she is actually the heart disease survivor. You may go on to read her real story. There's casual T-shirt selling for $15 only and 50% of the proceeds will go for the above campaign. Your action means a lot to those who need help.

Double Celebration, Double Gifts

Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day are coming hand in hand every year. People around me are crazily busy with different kind of preparation. Myself is not exceptional but I'm sitting in front of my PC searching for the gifts that I'm giving to my loved ones. I tell you, the easiest way could be to purchase online with coupons offered. I rather do this than going to shopping complexes because there surely packed during this peak season. Alright, I have decided to buy my hubby Argentina Home Jersey at Adidas with Adidas America coupons. I'm sure he loves it very much. And of course not forgetting my dear parents too! I'll get for them each a new light-weight and stylish luggage bag from Irv's Luggage Warehouse. They need it as they will go for vacation soon and the old luggage bags are worn-off and a bit out of style. I found out that there'll be free shipping besides some good discount by using Irv's Luggage Warehouse coupons. Pretty cool huh?!

New Recipe To Try Out

I love chicken and "spicy" is always the priority in my food list. So, Mexican chicken is therefore a very cool combination of these two. I found a rather interesting recipe with El Pollo Loco's citrus-marinated flame grilled chicken. Well, I'm not a good cook but my mum is. I think it's just the right time to bring her this recipe as she bugs me on new dishes for the coming Chinese New Year! Besides, she is the one who loves to make a breakthrough in cooking and she seldom make us western food. So mum, this is the chance for you to show your skill. Yeah! You wanna try too? If you do, you may look for it at www.wherestheflamegrill.com

Pollution...Haze...Everywhere!

This photo is taken on last Sunday morning. A very lovely morning but it had spoilt by the act of an stupid illegal Indon stay on this piece of land. Open burning will get fine but this fella will never ever get into trouble even he does this like every week! And worse thing is that they can stay there forever they like.

I still remember long time ago, my mum swept the dried leaves & burnt it at the backyard of the house. It caused just little of smoke, two policemen came & gave warning with a "very fierce face". I was so scared coz I was a very little gal that time.

This country is unfair & helpless! I hate it!

It's All About Luck

While many of you addicted to all sorts of online games, some of them (at least those I knew) have diverted to try their luck at Online casinos. I think this is very hit and trendy because whenever I mention it with my buddies who are once crazy over online games, they are all aware of it. And they told me that one of it among the interesting one is USA online casinos.

So I go to search and find what's so great about this USA casinos. First click into the web, sure you will be attracted by it's colourful page! And another eye-catching would be get 400% bonus up to $2000 on your first deposit. Most pro-gamblers will go for the more exciting Poker, I guess. But newbie like me, I find Bingo and Slots are much easier games. If you think luck is always by your side, it's right time to grab some wealth over there and prepare BIG "ANG POWS" for the coming Chinese New Year!

A Very "Special" Pen Drive, Finally Arrived...

You may wondering what's so special about this Apacer 1GB Pen Drive?...It's special not b'coz of its features nor design BUT it takes more than 2 months to reach us! From where?!...From CITIBANK. My hubby applied a card from them & he has been using the card for approx. 3 mths. For the promotion they put on paper & website, a free Reebok backpack will be given for every approved card holder. Then they'll tell u Reebok backpack promotion is over & we are giving away Pen Drive. (but the advertisement is still featuring Reebok backpack!)

They'll give all sorts of lame excuses for the late delivery (most common being the holiday break so short of staff kind of bullshit!...)My hubby like "tak apa-lah" even if they do not send it. But I said it's what u deserved to have what? So I e-mail the customer service. Guess what they replied to me? They need to check wth this Dpt & that Dpt 1st b4 they confirm to send it. I scratch my head wondering I'm dealing wth Gvt Dpt???

And finally it arrived on last Saturday morning. I think our people in this country is getting inefficient no matter in Gvt/Private Sector.

Where Had U Guys Gone To?...

I went to hunt for CNY clothes on last Saturday In 1U. Because we both usually slept late on Friday so woke up quite late on Saturday. Therefore, we reached 1U in the afternoon about 1pm. We thought that'll be difficulty faced in looking for parking as it's the norm if we reach there after 11am. But surprisingly, there are many empty covered parking places. We shopped there with no "human traffic" too. So relax.

When I told my brothers about this later at night, my big bro said quite empty in Sunway Pyramid and same thing in Pavilion as my 2nd bro went there with his family in the afternoon. Is that strange? I guess this is supposed to be the prime time in buying stuff for CNY but how come these 3 major shopping complexes are quite empty one? Or it's so happen to be a co-incidence?...May I know where had u guys gone to on Saturday afternnon? Mind to share with me? Thank you!

I'm Still Love Rugby

I love sports and many of my buddies here know that I'm a No.1 fan for tennis. Well, actually I do love many other sports and I watch live matches whenever time is permitted. Still recalled when I was a teenager, I always accompanied my big brother to watch soccer and rugby with mouthful of snacks and fizzy drinks. That was the old days...

Yeah, I want to chat a little about rugby game here. This is a very tough game whereby a great teamwork is extremely required besides fitness and skillful of each players.

A bit shameful of myself due to the fact that I just aware recently the RBS 6 Nations is consisted of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales by referring to its official website. I found it is equally resourceful and entertaining. Since working I can't stay 'til morning to watch my favourite live matches but rather check the news and status online. And of course I also trace the results for some of the past matches. What I love the most here is that there are video highlights from the game. Hence, I won't miss every single match basically! I'm thinking to sign-up the newsletter so that I may update myself from time to time.

No More Worries On Weight Gain

Many times when I go shopping, surely I'll see a number of them with super over-weight fellas without fail. On top of that, most of them are in their teens, what a shock! I'm thinking is that a sign whereby people getting rich or would they be diagnosed with some kind of disease? Whatever it is, they should do something about it as for the health consideration.

For them, I guess diet and intensive exercise would not help but houston weight loss could be the most suitable and easy remedy. It's a safe surgery and I heard that's one type of normal practice in Western countries in case for those who are doubted as to this method. You may browse through the testimonials or enrol to their free seminar to expose yourself more information before decision made.

Tag: New Year's Tradition

I got this tag from Hazel. I personally do not adhere much to the tradition but simply follow some very simply one in order to believe it "BRINGS GOOD LUCK ALL YEAR LONG".

Here goes:

What are some of your new year’s good luck traditions?
Rules :Copy the person and persons’ names that sent it to you and add your own at the bottom of the list. It really helps to build community.
Lets start it here!

*My mom used to collect some coins and when the new year comes she put the coins in a bowl and shake it to create sounds. She said its good luck for money throughout the year. And also wearing dotted dresses on new year don’t know why. CC/chalyza/keep

*My old folks always told us to avoid spending money on new years day. They said, once you spend on the first day of the year, you like to spend the rest of the year.Behind d Scenes of ME/ Retchel’s Pure Life/ /A little bit of me

*I grew up believing that if you have some money on your pocket (whatever you’re wearing) come New Year’s eve it will ensure steady flow of income throughout the year. The other belief is that the main door of the house should be wide open come New Year’s eve so that good luck will be ushered in. Juliana of MY WORLD and JULIANA’S LAIR.

*I don't have any traditionals during New Year. Juliana RW

*I have keep a RM50 note which the serial number is begin with number 8 and end up with number 8 also, between the number, it’s not encourage to have number 4 and number 0. By doing this we will have steady income throughout the whole life. It’s not easy to find such note. Another ways is to keep your “Ang Pao” in your pocket or put it inside your pillow on the New Year eve before you sleep. Hazel

*I must make sure our house is clean & tidy on CNY Eve because the God of Prosperity will only "visit" a house which is comfortable to stay with! And I must not sweep or mop the house on First Day of CNY or else the wealth may be ruined. Dora

What about you guys, Bokjae, HCFoo & FLSam?
